What participation means.
Is the pilot paid?
Pilot commercial terms are not published and may vary by scope, hardware configuration and partner type. Qualified participants will receive details directly before committing.
Is Controller included?
Not as a general pilot offer today. SmartTrim Controller remains in development. Logger and Prop are the two products currently described as ready for pilot testing.
Will every boat expose the same data?
No. Motion and GPS can be collected independently, while available NMEA 2000 signals vary by propulsion system, gateway and vessel configuration.
What happens to pilot data?
Any use of pilot data beyond delivering the participant’s requested product functionality should be governed by the applicable pilot agreement and permissions. The public site does not assume permission to use private vessel data for model training.
