The Walker name honors the founder’s grandfather, who owned and operated a respected marine service and performance business for more than 35 years and became known locally for marine tuning and hands-on problem solving.
That foundation is paired with more than two decades of professional work in structured data, analytics, AI, systems design and IT, plus hands-on experience in embedded electronics, IoT, automotive tuning and automation.
Why SmartTrim exists
Modern vehicles constantly assist the driver. Boats can do more of the same work.
SmartTrim started with a practical question: why should a boat operator keep making the same small trim and tab adjustments when the vessel already produces enough motion and operating data to understand much of what is changing?
The product family begins with measurement because trustworthy automation starts with trustworthy state. Logger captures the evidence. Prop applies that evidence to setup decisions. Controller is being developed to turn that state into bounded assistance. SmartFleet extends the same thinking across connected boats.
